Transform Your Life with Expert Guidance
Are you ready to embark on a journey of profound healing and personal growth? As an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I’ve honed my expertise over decades of behavioral health practice across California, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Since 1992, I’ve been dedicated to guiding clients toward brighter, more fulfilling lives through compassionate and effective therapy.
In 2016, I made the transformative decision to step fully into the role of a Psychotherapist, driven by a passion to help others achieve deep, lasting change. With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the prestigious University of Southern California, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a special focus on Trauma Therapy, Military Social Work, and individualized care that meets each person exactly where they are.
As a U.S. Veteran with multiple deployments, I understand firsthand the complexities and emotional weight of military life. My experience allows me to offer uniquely empathetic and specialized support to clients dealing with military-related trauma, PTSD, or the difficult transitions that often follow service. Whether you’re facing physical, emotional, or combat-related trauma, I create a nonjudgmental space for healing, growth, and recovery.
My therapeutic approach is designed to support professionals and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, or significant life transitions. Together, we’ll work through trauma and stress while developing strategies for coping with health diagnoses, empowering you to regain control and lead the life you desire.
As an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist, I specialize in helping process past experiences and move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re confronting past traumas, career challenges, or personal struggles, I’m here to offer nonjudgmental support and powerful tools for transformation.
If you're a professional seeking balance, someone ready for a new chapter, or an individual needing help to process military-related or other traumas, let’s partner in creating the future you’ve envisioned. With a unique understanding of the demands faced by individuals in high-stakes environments, I offer therapy that fits seamlessly into your life.
Begin your journey today toward a more empowered and fulfilling future, where direction and well-being align.

Mental Health Therapy
Depression and Anxiety often stem from unresolved trauma or deeply integrated patterns of fear, hopelessness, or powerlessness. Both attuned listening and careful integration of psychotherapy can help a client shift to a more calm and stable way of interacting in their world. Our lives are so often filled with stressful experiences. It is helpful to build an understanding of how to move through stresses in a more adaptive way. This includes how to calm the body during stressful experiences or how to direct thoughts to create a healthier framework for facing stressors while building healthier relationships.
EMDR THERAPY
EMDR is a powerful psychotherapeutic approach that helps lessen, and perhaps even eliminates, the painful mental and physical responses raised by the memory of traumatic events.
WHAT IS EMDR?
The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) has a great answer to this question on their website (www.emdria.org). According to EMDRIA, "EMDR therapy does not require talking in detail about the distressing issue, or homework between sessions. EMDR, rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, allows the brain to resume its natural healing process. EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. Part of the therapy includes alternating eye movements, sounds, or taps. For many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies."
